Job description Grounds Worker Job Description Department: Landscaping and Grounds Employment Type: Seasonal FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly Working Hours: Varies, typical 8 hour shifts *MUST SUBMIT RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED* Purpose: Landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Primary Job Duties: Team members will function and work as a group to provide a clean, well landscaped, orderly facility Mowing, weed control, bush trimming, brush cleanup Litter and trash patrol and disposal from paddocks, classrooms, common areas Miscellaneous cleanup projects Other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements: HS Diploma or GED Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time Ability to walk Ability push, pull, lift up to 75lbs Ability to work in all weather conditions Work Setting: Outdoor working environment with the typical outdoor temperature fluctuations, sometimes extreme and exposed to all types of weather conditions. Working environment can be described as loud.
