Can you imagine a day at the park with family and friends listening to music, eating sandwiches, and enjoying each other's laughter? Now, imagine having ice cream from a local ice cream parlor to top off the picnic experience. Who wouldn't love a day like this? Do you have a family member or friend that needs to get out of the house but their mental health is impacting their ability to do so? This project would give those who are struggling with mental health an opportunity to be around loved ones in a traditional setting while also meeting local mental health provider who is knowledgeable of available resources. " I scream, You scream, Mental Health and Ice Cream" could be the outing that transforms someone's life. Admission is FREE, simply register via Eventbrite to confirm your attendance. I SCREAM! Hornets Nest Park Williamson Pavilion 6301 Beatties Ford Rd Charlotte, NC 28216 United States Trae Scoops, LLC and Pursuing Peace, PLLC are owned and operated by La'Tracia Jones Caldwell, a licensed mental health therapist in Charlotte North Carolina. La'Tracia has been committed to doing community services since 2019. Trae Scoops and Pursuing Peace Warm the Streets initiative and Talk a Walk In My Shoes campaign have earned over 7,000 dollars in donations and have been committed to community service projects in Charlotte. La'Tracia has fed the homeless during Thanksgiving, provided vulnerable populations with free mental health services, and donated winter items to those in need. Though neither of these organizations is non-profit, they both work tirelessly to provide community service for vulnerable populations. The Vision of Trae Scoops, LLC and Pursuing Peace, PLLC is to promote conversations, in a non-traditional setting by providing awareness, motivation, and support to individuals in the community. They strive to provide impactful services that allow for personal transformation, empowerment, and increased self-awareness.
