The Great Empowered Minds (GEM) is a 15-week social and emotional learning (SEL) program that is designed to support and help every student discover his/her value, worth and purpose. When implemented in various educational settings, (i.e., youth programs, After School, Homeschool, Restorative Justice, Summer Bridges, juvenile detention, and transitional) the whole person can thrive by improving his/her social-emotional competence. This ultimately equals success for the student.
