Easy to make and year-round beauty for your patio or any outdoor space, join us on Wednesday, August 3rd at 10:30 am to create a living, succulent wreath. They are 13" sphagnum moss heart-shaped wreaths complete with the hardware attached to hang your wreath when you get it home. We will embellish the wreaths with specially curated, colorful stemmed succulents which will root and make for a lasting, decorative conversation piece. All materials are included, and you are invited to partake in morning mimosas and delicious snacks! This is the first workshop where we are charging RSFGC members, but only a fraction of the total cost of materials to make the wreath. Normally our workshops are free for members, but as mentioned above, we are using "stemmed" succulents in a variety of shapes and colors to ensure the wreaths are attractive and sustainable for months and years to come. This makes it a little pricier than obtaining simple clippings -- but so worth it in the long run. In the photo below is a wreath I created myself this past January. My succulents have all rooted and grown and the only maintenance I do is spritzing with water and trimming the succulents when they get long. It still looks as beautiful as the day I made it!
