Join instructor Julie Parisi as she demonstrates four summertime Italian recipes featuring ingredients from the bountiful produce of the season including fresh tomatoes and basil from her home garden! In this class, attendees will learn how to prepare a delicious bruschetta & balsamic crostini appetizer. Next, Julie will demonstrate how to prepare a peach panzanella salad to accompany Tuscan pork & mushroom skewers. For dessert, the class will get their hands dirty assembling their own fresh berry ricotta tiramisu. These recipes will have you closing your eyes and imagining you're in Italy on a hot summer day! This is a demonstration class with elements of hands-on activities. Samples of each dish will be served to attendees. This will be held in the Culinary Kitchen, within the NewBo City Market.
