Mike Brown Electric a very well-established North Bay Electrical Contractor has immediate opening for a Service Manager for Commercial, Industrial, and Residential electrical repairs and installations.. The right candidate must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within the Construction/Electrical industry. If you don’t meet these criteria please don’t apply! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Receive and answer phone calls for incoming service and small job requests • Receive and respond to emails from customers with service and small job requests • Prepare a complete estimate, budget for service calls and small projects with a detailed review of client requirements. • Write work orders for service work and small projects • Daily/weekly scheduling of the service electrician(s) • Order and track materials from our vendors as needed. • Prepare billings for completed service work and small projects. • Manage financial aspects of all projects. • Maintain a complete knowledge of the status of all projects. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary. • Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements. • Communicate with the electricians and assist with problem solving and offer ideas for electrical repairs. • Monitor overall quantity and quality of work performed by service electrician(s). • Maintain a good relationship with the company’s clients while protecting the company’s interests. • Expand and grow the service customer base. • Execute organization's programs, policies, standards, and procedures. Required skills and qualifications: • Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office a must, knowledge of Accubid T&M and Accubid Enterprise a plus • High School degree or equivalent • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position within the Construction/Electrical industry • Ability to work under pressure in a face paced environment • Excellent organization skills • Ability to work independently without direction • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team • Detail oriented • Ability to quickly change direction and appropriately prioritize schedule Completive salary based on experience and fit with the company’s requirements.
