Property owners throughout Polk County may participate in this program to help pool their buying power to secure significant discounts that make installing high-quality solar more affordable. This solar education and group purchasing program is offered with support from Midwest Renewable Energy Association and the Nature Conservancy of Iowa. Regardless of where you live in the county you can participate in any of the free informational Solar Power Hours. You’ll learn about the basics of solar, its financial implications for a household, and how the solar group buy program will work.
