DELIVERY HELPER Acoustical Building Supplies is a family owned and operated company that supplies drywall and interior finish products to both the residential and commercial markets. COMPENSATION:  competitive wages (starting at $16-18/hour, based on experience & qualifications) + overtime!  health, dental, vision & life insurance  paid vacations & holidays  401k retirement plan (with employer matching)  Payroll direct deposit As a full-time delivery helper, you’ll ensure the smooth operation of our delivery services. Duties & Responsibilities:  Compliance with company, state and federal guidelines particularly as it relates to OSHA and DOT for the safety of all personnel  Perform pre-trip inspections of equipment, paperwork and loaded product to ensure accuracy of order  Efficiently and safely secure products onto delivery vehicle  Safely unload product and deliver to assigned area as directed by the customer  Navigates delivery driver to job site Other Competencies:  Ability to self-manage, show initiative and be proactive  Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers Basic Qualifications:  Ability to read, write and communicate information accurately  Stamina to lift at least 100 lbs. in order to carry materials Physical Demands:  Constantly, moving from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicle onto job site  Constantly, positions self to unload and load materials from flatbed or boom  Frequently moves materials weighing up to 100lbs while unloading and loading flatbed  Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.  Constantly working in an outside environment while making deliveries We are an EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
