*While not mandatory, we ask that you go through the Beekeeping 201L class first, or have some familiarity with honey bees before signing up.Learn all about how honey is harvested in Beekeeping 204. You will go collect honey supers, and help extract the honey all while learning different techniques to do so. And of course you'll be leaving with some of the honey that you helped extract!
You will need to sign a waiver at the start of the class. We will have jackets and veils available to those without, but if you have your own PPE we encourage you to bring it.
We will be following CDC guidelines, so masks and social distancing will be observed.
*Every attendee must purchase a ticket since we are limited on the number of people we can have attend. Plus participants who fill out the post-test survey will receive some beekeeper tools and gear.
