Buddha Time Productions along with Studio 18 is bringing Orlando the amazing "Film Makers & Actors" workshop on Sunday July 17th, 2022. Hosted by award winning director & actor Quantae Love, join us where we will be discussing the ins & outs of what it takes to make a feature length film. Beginning with an acting workshop, it is designed to help actors understand how to get work and create work for themselves within the industry. Followed by an intensive film making seminar meant to help directors and creators understand what it takes to complete a project & make bigger ones. Not only this, but get a chance to show off some of your work and network with some of the city's best creators. You wont want to miss this knowledge, information, and connection! Hosted and lead by Quantae Love, he has been a prominent figure in the independent film community for over 25+ years. He began from being a local Orlando actor coming out of Valencia Community College then deciding to moving to LA to pursue a professional acting career. From there he worked up the industry ladder to begin producing Hollywood gameshows such as "Moment of Truth". Finally he then began writing, directing, & staring in his own independent shorts that lead him to now having a multi-award winning feature length film "Popolo" that was released and distributed to Amazon Prime. Now Quantae & his Co-Director Edo Natasha are in post-prodution for their new three part syfy martial arts film "Devatha" releasing 2023. So if you want to learn how to go from being an aspiring actor or filmmaker to working on feature lenth industry films and everything in between, this event is for you! Acting Workshop: 11am - 2pm During this workshop we will be going over what it takes to become a successful actor or actress in the industry. Please bring any professional headshots you may have and if desired a preferred monologue to perform for feedback. *There will be a 1 hour break in between workshops for food & networking. Film Making Workshop: 3pm - 6pm This workshop will be focused on the inner depths of the Hollywood filmmaking industry, the dos & donts, the secrets that no one tells, and how to navigate through such a influential system. Please bring any clips of work you may have done, scripts you have written, or anything you want to get feedback from pros and colleagues. - Learn the journey of what it took to have a successful 25 year career in Hollywood - Network with others to find new possible connections & new people to work with. - Discuss with other creators your goals, visions, and the tools you need to get there. - Share clips of your work (or perform monologue) to get feedback from other creators and industry pros. - Watch clips from Quantae's independent films and get exclusive inside access to how it was done. Also get a sneak peak into never before seen clips of the unreleased "Devatha". So come on out for a great day filled with knowledge, conversation, inspiration, & more.
