Hello Parents & Students! My name is Brian Mason and I am a rising Junior at Walt Whitman High School. My company, Codeocity, teaches elementary and middle school students to code. We hire talented, experienced high schoolers that each have a minimum of 2+ years of coding experience. We have taught over 160 hours of content to students and our students greatly enjoy this course. This course focuses on teaching the principles of programming to elementary schoolers. We use a visual programming language called Scratch that is highly interactive and rewarding to achieve this goal. The total cost for the course is $200 for 8 classes. Class sizes are limited to four students to ensure more individual teacher-student interaction. Classes are held online through Google Meets twice a week for four weeks.
