Smitty’s Vending is looking for a person to join our team as a shop assistant. No experience is necessary, training will be provided. Smitty’s Vending Service has a commitment to success to our customers, partners and employees. As such, we hold our employees to a high standard of customer service. Smitty’s is the leading dealer of new and refurbished vending machines in the Northwest. We take pride in taking well-used machines and transforming them to like-new condition. Our team members take pride in their ability to complete that transformation. Employees will work with minimal supervision and are required to attend meetings and training held in our service center. Requirements and Responsibilities: • Prepping vending machines and commercial coolers for resale. • Shipping and Receiving. • Keeping your work area clean and organized. • Assisting our delivery team in installing machines at customer locations. • Safely operating the forklift. • Greeting customers in a courteous and professional manner. Competencies: • Mechanical aptitude • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Must be a self-starter and be able to accomplish tasks in a timely manner • Good oral and written communication skills Minimum Requirements • Valid Driver’s License • Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more on a regular basis. Occasional lifting up to 70 lbs.
