Looking for officers to interview!

I’m writing a fictional story where a couple major characters are police officers and I’m hoping to talk to some police officers so I can have a little inspiration and ideas. This was actually a story I started writing back in 2017 (and ran an ad back then too) and have decided to pick back up. If you are a police officer, I have a few general questions about your experiences on the job, reasons for joining the profession, and any crazy/funny stories you can share that I can maybe incorporate into the story. Feel free to reply if you are a police officer who would be willing to chat; I’m happy to answer any questions you might have for me as well! You can disclose as much or as little information as you want, though age/gender, tenure, and place you work (even just telling me city vs. suburb) would be helpful context as I’m weaving this information into this story.
