BAAMS -- the Berkshires' Academy for Advanced Musical Studies, Inc., a nonprofit charitable organization, has moved its academy headquarters into Building 6, Western Gateway Urban Heritage State Park, North Adams, Mass. In order to celebrate this achievement and raise funds for reduced tuition rates and scholarships for students, purchase new music instruments and other necessary equipment, etc., we are hosting our GRAND OPENING CELEBRATION concert on SUNDAY, JULY 17 from 1-5PM. LIVE MUSIC featuring Jaimoe, the original founding member/drummer for the ALLMAN BROTHERS' BAND is our special guest, playing alongside David Gilmore (guitar), Alex Blake (bass), Dario Boente, (piano/keyboards), Victor Jones (drums), Richard Boulger (trumpet), Kris Jensen (saxophone), and also Jim Taft (vocals and drums), and Gina Coleman (vocals).
