First,be near Carlsbad/Vista area--and if u have rehearsal room,I'm willing to share/train you from intermediate,to very advanced level of understanding your instrument and music itself. UNLESS you are already there,great....(but most musicians think they are) Blues/rock/jazz/progressive/funk I only care about playing challenging,rewarding music. It means absolutely NOTHING to me how Long s/o has been playing,..how many 'pro gigs' they've done,..how much,or expensive their gear is,..if they are or have been in a well known band,etc... I find it ridiculously funny that almost every level player,from a 12 year old playing 3 chords, to the basic bar band of 50 year olds playing very basic music (out of loud expensive gear) and they become "King kong know-it-alls Im the best"--until they walk into a situation to realize...they have been playing way too long to know almost nothing. So,I'm trying to find the one in a hundred true musician that has ear,skills,talent,hopefully know some theory. And if u have the rehearsal space,I will work (if needed) with you on whichever instrument you play. I have recordings(talk is cheap) of more complex(Steely Dan,Braz. jazz,etc) that will show the level we can be playing at.
