Overview: Fuqua Chrysler Dodge Jeep and RAM is seeking a goal oriented professional to join our service department. We have been in business since 1969 and remain dedicated to the Jay County market. We invest heavily in the training for our technicians. A hiring bonus is available and the pay plan/structure is negotiable. Qualifications: • Tools suitable to your level of experience • Valid driver’s license • Pass a background check • Strong moral values and work ethic Responsibilities: • Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical components to diagnose issues accurately • Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems for repair, maintenance or upgrade • Conduct routine maintenance work and advise on condition of vehicle components • Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts • Provide accurate time estimates for repairs and maintenance • Keep logs on repair orders and work performed • Maintain shop equipment and tools in good condition Skills/Requirements: • Proven experience as auto technician • Working knowledge of mechanical and electronic components of vehicles • Familiarity of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods • Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protection against accidents and dangerous fluids • High school diploma is preferred; Certifications preferred • All potential employees must pass pre-employment testing including a background check and drug screen.
