TRUMBULL, CT — In what officials called the "most unusual" thank you note, a woman who had been arrested twice sent a handwritten card to the Trumbull Police Department, according to the Connecticut Post.
The Post reports the "Thank You" note was one of six read into the record at a recent Trumbull Police Commission meeting.
The woman, who had been arrested in connection with a domestic incident and failing to appear in court, thanked police for their courtesy and professionalism in what could have been a tense situation, according to the Post.
