We are looking for a part-time driver-mover to join the Green Gorilla Team! We are specifically looking for people who have a drivers license. Experience driving moving trucks is preferred. Must be able to pass DOT medical exam. Job duties: - to drive moving truck to and from job sites safely - to prepare clients' belongings for transportation in the moving truck - to load and unload items into moving truck in a safely and efficient manner, ensuring that items will remain in their place and undamaged during transportation and are handled correctly - to properly use padding, moving supplies, tie downs, shoulder straps, dollies, tools - to pack items into boxes and wrap furniture - to effectively work in teams of up to 4 people - to follow directions of lead mover and be able to take lead on moves - to arrive on time on job sites - to install appliances, gym equipment, and furniture when necessary Requirements: - Driver's license is a must - pass DOT physical exam - experience with appliance installation, gym equipment, and furniture assembly - able to lift 50+ lb alone or over 400 lb in teams - able to carry loads up and down stairs - good communication skills - able to work Saturdays and sometimes evenings - positive and customer oriented - ability to work effectively and efficiently in teams - minimum age: 18 - reliable transportation to our business location Preferred: - previous moving experience - able to work on weekends What we offer: - competitive wages - interesting work, where every job is a little different than the one before - work outside, no cubicles! - plenty of opportunity for professional growth and moving up - typically, our movers get up to 30 hours a week of work About us: Green Gorilla Movers was founded in June 2020.
