American Residential is looking for an energetic, punctual individual who places a high value on exceptional customer service to join our team. Candidate must be professional in appearance, be able to multitask, and be detail oriented. The maintenance supervisor is expected to represent the ownership and the property in a professional manner at all times. Candidate is expected to perform on a level that improves the property standards and appearance while understanding, diagnosing and resolving all maintenance and service related issues at the property. Participation in the emergency on-call response is required. The maintenance supervisor works with the Community Manager to maintain budgets and implement maintenance strategies that benefit the long-term success of the property. We strive to maintain an environment that is focused on customer service and community. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including but not limited to: minor plumbing repair, general carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning. Perform unit turns including but not limited to: servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting. Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner. Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties. Assist in maintaining grounds and property amenities. Perform any and all duties called upon by supervisors to ensure property operates in an efficient and economic manner. Represent company values by dressing and acting in a professional manner at all times. Participate in emergency on-call program. Required Skills Must have a positive attitude and a desire to be a team player. Must be willing to take initiative and have a sense of urgency. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner Must have basic or advanced knowledge of HVAC repair, pool maintenance, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance repair, etc.. Must pass background check and drug screening.
