General Position Summary The Linen Production position is responsible for effectively performing tasks such as continuously catching, sorting, folding, and loading/unloading commercial washers and dryers. Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities Employees may be hired for one specific area and may be cross-trained to perform all job functions listed below as needed. Production Sort Identifies orders to be processed by weighing, sorting, and labeling linens Move loaded or empty carts/bins within the production area Production Fold & Iron Quality control checks linens accordingly to meet standards Stacks and wraps linens accordingly based on customer requirements Load/Unload washers and dryers. Load and unload commercial washers and dryers Sort, separate and lay-out items to prepare for the next step in the cleaning process Follows washing and drying cycle times for specific items Education and Experience Requirements None Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and moving items - The employee is required to regularly stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms, and occasionally stoop. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
