Looking for Alchemists in the Science of Sound

My name is Ellis, I'm a 32 year-old guitarist/singer looking to get a new incarnation of an old project going here in Eugene. I had a regionally (Northern California) successful band from 2010 to 2013 called Ellis & the Alchemists composed of: bass, drums, guitar, baritone sax, and tenor sax that I would love to pull together once again to gig out locally and have a lot of fun. I've been playing and teaching guitar for 20 years and have written over 100 songs. I'm looking for some friendly, confident musicians, that are interested in learning some songs and penning their own contributions to the final product. The music I write isn't the most complex stuff in the world, but it's not easy either. It will take a bit of work and dedication to get things sounding good, but in my experience it's been well worth the effort. I just mainly miss being able to play a couple gigs a month and being able to have some fun with my musical buddies. I'm free most evenings and would love to get together in the near future to see if we click over some tunes. It's hard to describe what type of music I make so the best way is to take a listen, but it definitely falls under the alternative rock umbrella.
