We are searching for a talented and dedicated part time Grounds & Building Keeper to join our team in the north end of Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail. Must be able to work with minimal supervision and ensure the grounds are being upkept. This job will be approximately 15 hours per week with room for additional hours or advancement for the right candidate. As the Grounds & Building Keeper, you will conduct general groundskeeping duties such as removing waste and addressing vandalism around the perimeter and inside of the building, returning patio spaces to order, and ensuring the growth and vibrancy of our plants. You will also perform a range of janitorial duties including but not limited to vacuuming the lobbies daily, sweeping/blowing leaves, and ensuring hallways and stairwells are in order. Must be able to operate maintenance equipment including vacuum cleaners, leaf blowers, irrigation clocks and possible other equipment. Qualifications, Skills, and Abilities: • High School Diploma or GED • 2-5 Year(s) related work experience • Ability to work independently and with good judgment • Ability to work successfully in a team environment • Properly use and care for hand and power tools, materials and equipment related to the maintenance of landscaped areas. • Establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. • Energetic self-starter and demonstrates initiative • Service and teamwork oriented • Customer centered and focused • Focus on learning and self-development • Technically competent and skilled DOE. Applicant must have a valid driver’s license, clean Driving Abstract and pass background screening. $25/hour, Monday-Friday 8am-11am or 7am-10am
