Boogie Boulevard is a Renton based 10 piece dance band with a 3 piece horn section that needs a sound technician. We currently do a lot of ‘70’s disco, funk, and R&B tunes, as well as some modern stuff. Think Earth Wind & Fire, Patti LaBelle, KC & the Sunshine Band, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Camila Cabello, and others. We have 45 songs under our belts and are adding more all the time. We are currently advertising on WeddingWire and theknot.com. The focus for this band is to have a lot of fun playing weddings, festivals, and corporate functions! Boogie Boulevard is currently performing at least one gig per month. We are looking for someone who is willing to make the band a priority and run sound at every gig. We also need you to be detail oriented and very careful with the equipment. Because we are gearing up for weddings and corporate functions, we need you to have a clean and professional appearance. Pay is $100 plus parking fees or one band member share, whichever is more. We use tablet controlled Soundcraft Ui24r mixers, an electronic drum kit, JBL powered speakers, and wireless in-ear monitoring that can be controlled by the user. However, some users in the band need help with this. We provide all the equipment, including the iPad - you just show up and help us set up, tear down, and run it! Potential candidates will receive 12 tracks from a song recorded at a recent gig. From that we will have you make a stereo mp3 for us to review.
