Type: Full-time, typically 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Monday - Friday Location: Based in Escondido, you will work outdoors in residential, urban, and commercial areas. Description: We are a well-established company in Southern California that specializes in identifying and repairing sidewalk trip hazards. We are looking for a professional to work as a full-time Sidewalk Assessment Technician. You will work in outdoor environments in residential, schools, commercial and urban areas. Your responsibility will be to assess sidewalks and related assets for defects and/or special conditions. You will be responsible for collecting data in our proprietary app, documenting measurements, taking pictures, and recording locations. Generally, you will make sure a thorough survey is completed and all defects / special conditions are recorded, which is a key element of the service we provide to our customers. This is a physically demanding job as you will be walking most of the time. The position is full-time. Requirements: -Experience in construction or utility estimating / inspection / inventory / data collection/ quality control. -Responsible, reliable, and trustworthy. Good work ethics and ability to self-manage. -Capable of walking for most of the day, including frequent kneeling. -Meticulous and detail-oriented with good analytical problem-solving and basic math skills. -Have a valid driver's license, clean (driving) records, and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursed). -Able to speak and write fluent English. -Have a professional appearance and demeanor. -Located within 15 miles of our office in Escondido.
