We are auditioning bassists for an original rock band. Our influences are bands like... U2, Coldplay, Train, Blue October, INXS, the Eagles, STP, Pink Floyd and the Beatles. This is a commercial rock band so we need a bassist that appreciates playing in the pocket and values a less is more approach to creating radio friendly music. Our current songs are a mix of light and heavy, but always full of hooks. We have a prolific and successful history in the music industry with many connections and opportunities to utilize when the time is right. We have a rehearsal studio in S.F. and a bass rig available. You must be stable, as in have the time to commit to a band schedule of one night a week. You must have cash flow, as in have money to contribute to band expenses. You must have the ability and the discipline to learn and memorize the music. You must be able and open to using a pick as well as using your fingers. It's all good if you're in another band as our music is super easy to play and we only rehearse one day a week so the commitment is very minimal.
