synth / keyboard player available

Hi, I am a synth / keyboard player and I'm looking for a band / artist who may be interested in my services to either play on studio tracks and/or to do the shows. I am not necessarily looking for a paid gig (although who could really refuse money this day and age?). Money is tight (as we all know) and sadly, that's what most people on these musician listings are looking for. I really just want to go out and have my talents used and appreciated if we can gel on the direction and as people! To give you all a general idea of my abilities, I do draw my influences listening to pop / rock, new-wave / dark-wave, dream pop, alternative, post-punk. However, I'm not into things like rap, industrial, scream-o, blues, jazz... When it comes to the live performing, I am aware that some players like me are against an idea of a backing tracks because they feel it compromises the performances when people go through the trouble to go pay for and reserve their time out to see. I'm not exactly a big fan of backing tracks, but I am open minded as what the artist / band really desires as far as that all goes. You are the one(s) who steer the ship. I am not seeking work with a cover band, only ones with original songs (but if you got a cover you wish to throw in there, that's ok). I live in the Los Angeles area. I am willing to make the efforts to come over if you are also reasonably within distance in the city as well. I will not go far to places like Pasadena, Orange County, or to Pomona unless it is gig time. Performance sample videos are available upon request. Thank you
