International Paper Truck Driver FULL-TIME $22/hr 1910 Warren St, Kansas City, MO 64116 Required: Must have a Commercial Class A License Have a valid state Commercial Drivers’ License and meet the Department of Transportation's physical and medical requirements. Duties include: - Loading/unloading or assist in loading/unloading finished product in or from trailer. - Inspect load in trailer to ensure it is properly loaded and it is the correct load before leaving. - Verifying count while truck is being unloaded, as allowed by customers. - Transporting load by required route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Obtain the shipping bill of lading and necessary signatures and return the completed paperwork to the shipping office. - Completing necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to: Production - Data, Truck Service Data, Safety Data, Quality Data. - Completing daily timecards, driver logs, and all other work reports accurately and in a timely manner. - Performing daily services such as – checking the oil level, water level, fuel, air in tires, and cleaning vehicle as needed. - Reporting any maintenance items to supervision immediately. Be proactive in the maintenance of the truck and trailers. - Complying with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
