**Tired of working for Dealerships/Repair Shops with no Guaranteed work or Pay** M & K Used Auto Parts, Inc. is looking to fill a FULL-TIME position for an Auto Dismantler! Do what you love: Grab your tools and join our team! WE NEED YOU! Hourly/Commission pay; Retirement(401K); Paid Vacation Must be able to: 1) Dismantle vehicles with own tools. Remove waste/fluids and dispose of them properly. Disassemble vehicles with care for resale parts. Use hand and power tools properly. Visually inspect parts and test when able to for working condition. 2) Inventory responsibilities; properly mark all parts removed from vehicles with their stock numbers with a paint marker; properly tag parts after removal from vehicle; put parts away to appropriate locations. 3) Safety activities include the proper handling of and compliance of waste/materials issues; attendance at scheduled safety meetings; uses personal protective safety equipment as required by policy/procedures; uses equipment tool safety devices as required; assists in safe dismantling and assembly of equipment/tools; adjusts to conditions during work assignments in order to prevent accidents. Personal Protective Safety equipment will be provided to you! Requirements: 1) Course work in automotive/mechanical field preferred. Six continuous months of mechanical shop time. 2) Understanding of automobile parts/inventory or dismantling. Know all parts of a vehicle. 3) Provide your own tools. 4) Ability to use/operate a fork lift and other equipment needed for this assignment. 5) Demonstrate ability to properly use hand and other tools/equipment relating to this position. 6) Ability to lift 50 plus pounds. 7) Be able to work in all types of weather. 8) Be able to work well with other employees.
