WHAT CHEFS WANT! - REPACK-PRODUCTION What Chefs Want! is a leading independent regional wholesale distributor of fresh fruits and vegetables with a distribution center in Denver CO. Due to continuous growth; we are currently looking for a Repack-Production team member to join our team. SUMMARY: A repack-production team member is responsible for fulfilling all daily assignments to meet customer needs, as determined by management. They will be responsible for inspecting product to customer specifications and hand packing into prescribed carton. Team members will be responsible for completing their assigned duties in a manner that will be safe, clean, and encourage a healthful work environment for self and other team members. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Responsible for effeciently and correctely completing daily production needs required to meet customer delivery requirements. • Responsible for processing any special orders and/or customer delivery requirements as they are presented through out the day. • Responsible for achieving product quality standards in repacked produce as defined by collective management. • Responsible for completing work order paperwork and entering information into operating system when requested. • Responsible for following company policies and protocols. • Responsible for food safety and food handling. • Responsible for adhering to hygenic handling practices. • Responsible for cleanliness of the room and equipment. • Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations required. • Desire to work in a participative work environment. • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and have a flexible schedule. WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Exposure to varying weather conditions and temperatures in warehouse and on loading dock. • Physical strength to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. • Must be able to bend, reach, squat etc.. on a regular basis. • Good visual acuity to inspect incoming and outgoing shipments.
