Construction / Agriculture / Oil field Background / HVAC / Electrical? We have a unique opportunity that can be either part time or full time, giving you the flexibility to make a really good living or just some extra money in your spare time. Pay is approx $50 to $75 an hour, (pay is based on completed work orders regardless of time spent on a job site. The estimate is just that, an estimate based on current earnings of others performing the same work). The biggest things we are looking for are ambition, reliability, problem solving, hard working, trustworthiness, and being decently good with your hands, with a little bit of administrative ability (promise it's not much, but there is some paperwork on a per job basis, we have tried to minimize it, but it's still necessary to ensure proper workflow.) We provide you with all the equipment, the work orders and customers, and a process for making money. If you want to work full time or part time that is completely up to you. You can cover an area as small as your own home county or a larger area for more work. This is a contract position so the amount you make will be up to you and your performance. The installation / service technician will work from home and self-dispatch to coincide with customer expectations for arrival and work completion, communication with customers is crucial. You set your availability and work orders get scheduled when you want them. You have the opportunity to do those work orders sooner if you choose. There is a significant amount of ongoing work while our business does have some ebb and flow to it, workload is fairly consistent and expected to increase going forward. You will be installing and repairing satellite telecommunications systems. It is not complicated nor extremely technical. Construction fundamentals are more important than IT knowledge. Finding studs, and plumbing a pole is more important than programming. This is a position where you will wear jeans not khakis. You will also have the ability, but are not required, to suggestively sell a vast array of electronic components and services, these include Home Alarm/Automation, Networking products and Internet Services, Television Services and products, Cellular Products and Services. These things all add income and profitability to you and your efforts. To be approved for the contract, you must Be able to pass criminal back ground check and drug test. Be able to drive and provide reliable transportation. Have access to the appropriate hand / power tools to complete the work required. Be able to demonstrate knowledge of basic construction principles. We will help educate the technician on the proper installation standards expected by the client, and providers. We will require technician to demonstrate that knowledge via testing prior to activation in the field.
