Description
Bigfoot is about 3 years old, a very cute brindle and white Pit or Pit mix. He is not neutered but I strongly recommend it, we just can't afford it right now. I have had him since he was about 3 months old and I really do hate to rehome him because he is very attached to me but he started developing some issues with fighting with our other males. I would not call him aggressive, but the fighting would start when we would get home. They would be jumping around, excited, and then before we could get in the door a fight would break out. I don't know if this issue stems from anxiety, jealousy, or what but when they fight it's nearly impossible to break them up.
He has never fought with female dogs. He is kennel trained, loves water, loves chasing balls. He's very athletic and very loving.
Last August I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and me and my husband ended up moving in with my parents to help them and our house needs too many repairs to live in. Since then, Bigfoot has lived on a tie-out run. Before that, he was used to sleeping in bed with me and being in the house but that can't happen here and I hate seeing him tied up.
He was bitten by a snake a couple months ago and still has some tissue damage but it's cosmetic, it doesn't bother him at all.
He is super smart and it breaks my heart to rehome him and I will be very picky about who gets him. I just want him to have a happy, long life.
He does great with chickens, horses, cats, kittens, puppies, just not intact male dogs. He likes kids.
Riding in cars does make him a little nervous. He was dumped in my neighborhood as a pup and I think he's scared he's getting dumped again when we go for rides.
He really is a good boy.
