Barnard claimed that she received a call from an Ohio doctor with a 10-year-old patient on her wait to Indiana for an abortion due to Ohio's abortion ban. Believe it or not the truth from a Washington Post fact-checker pointed out that the article didn't meet journalistic standards for several reasons: Barnard was the only source cited in the article. There was no corroboration from the girl, her family, or even the Ohio doctor. Barnard was not an unbiased source. She is actually a prominent abortion advocate. Barnard has also declined to share more details to corroborate her story.
