As a Field Technician Assistant, you will learn all facets of sign installation & service/repair by working with an experienced Field Technician Lead. You will be taught how to operate crane and boom trucks, excavation equipment, forklifts, various tools and other equipment.
Our goal is always to promote field tech helpers to lead field techs as soon as they are prepared to make that jump.
This is 90% outdoor work regardless of whether conditions. We work rain or shine.
Daily hours are 7AM – 3:45PM but overtime is routine. Weekends off with a very rare requirement to work on Saturday or Sunday. Weekend work is generally no more than 4 or 5 weekends per year.
Generally overnight travel is limited to, 2 or 3 consecutive nights and occurs roughly once per month.
Company pays per diem for food and covers 100% of hotel costs when required to stay overnight.
