A small, boutique pet care facility is looking for a part time Kennel/Grounds Cleaner Attendant. This position will aid the owner with duties for pets in Daycare and Boarding. The job includes cleaning dog/cat crates, cleaning the grounds and other areas. The facility is in the trainer’s home in south Atascadero. Pay is $16 per hour Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday Time: 7:00-9:00 AM (to beat the heat) Duties include: • Cleaning of dog/cat crates • Sweeping and washing down patios • Yard cleanup including poop • Cleaning patio doors and a few windows • Spot mopping 2 small interior floors • Fold and put away dog towels/blankets • Any other small duties that protect the health and well being of the animals Applicant must have a genuine, loving care for pets and you must be comfortable around dogs of all sizes. You must be physically fit to do cleaning work. We are looking for mature, dependable people who are self starters and can work independently. We want you take pride of ownership of our outside areas and keep them sparkling clean. Previous experience in a pet care facility (Grooming, Vet office, Rescue, Daycare, Boarding or Training) is preferred but not required.
