Colt, Inc. is a scrap tire processor and transporter licensed and permitted by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. We’ve been in the scrap tire business since 1994 and have grown to be the largest scrap processor in Louisiana with two operating locations. Our goal is to provide customers with top-notch service for all of their scrap tire needs. We are seeking to hire a Laborer for our New Orleans location. This person will assist operations on our yard and assist in loading tires on customer location. Candidates are required to be at least 18 years of age. Prior experience working outdoors is preferred. General Job Requirements: • Assist in the unloading, loading, and counting of tires • Must have the ability to lift 100lbs safely • Aid customers who visit our site by helping them offload their tires • Contribute to the smooth operation of our Yard crew by supporting other crew members in their tasks when needed • Operate efficiently while also maintaining quality and safety standards • Help driver load all used tires from customers • Direct driver when backing • Sweep and clean out customers’ area after tires are removed • Maintain inside of truck • Assist driver in all other job duties needed to successfully complete the route in an efficient and safe manner • Help with all other duties as directed by management Benefits: • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurances • Supplemental Insurances • Vacation Pay • Sick Pay • Paid Holidays • Uniform Allowance • Tire Program (Eight Tires per Year) If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply in person at: 9300 Old Gentilly Rd New Orleans, LA 70127 Applicants being considered for hire must pass a drug test before beginning work or receiving an offer of employment.
