HORTICULTURAL TECHNICAN Qualifications • US work authorization (Required) • High school or equivalent (Preferred) • Interior Plant & Landscaping: 1 year (Preferred) • English Language (Preferred) • Driver's License and Reliable Vehicle (Required)-Mileage Reimbursement • Must Drive or Walk to Various locations on assigned route Job Description • Reliable transportation to Boston and Surrounding Areas • 2+ years’ Plant Horticultural experience preferred, but we will train • Maintain interior plants in offices and lobby • Landscaping/Gardening Experience/ Delivery Experience Preferred • Delivery of Plants and Materials to Clients • Plant Maintenance at Metro West/Boston/Cambridge job sites to water, prune, deadhead and monitor all plantings and hand watering with water cart • Assist with Holiday design services (interior & exterior) • Know/learn names of annuals, perennials, shrubs, and tropical plants • Communicate closely with Managers and Team Members • Energetic, self-starters that like to “stay busy” • Ability to Work Independently • Ability to lift 30 lb bags and be able to be on feet for 4-6 hr days • COVID-19 considerations: For the safety of all crew members-sanitization and health monitoring (may require Face-Masks) • Part-time to Full-Time (Monday-Friday) • Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Please submit resumes to: [email protected]
