Description
We are rehoming several of our guinea pigs. They do not come with a cage. These are adults and have been together for about a year for most of them. We want them to go to good pet homes and prefer they go in pairs unless you have a female piggie already. I will not be rehoming them for breeding or to homes with male piggies. No exceptions. Trying to breed them or "accidentally" putting them in with a male could kill them.
Please do your research! These guys make awesome pets but they require hay and fruits/veggies everyday on top of a quality pellet diet. They need a big cage; the bigger the cage, the less you will have to clean it. Look into C&C cages, pet store cages just aren't big enough. They need their cage cleaned almost every day. They can be litter box trained but you will still need to clean their cage. These are used to fleece blankets or fleece cage liners and do use a litter box with paper or pine pellets.
If you have gotten this far, my only rehoming fee is that when you pick them up you bring their cage they will be living in (or photo proof if too big to easily transport) and a bag of guinea pig pellets. We want to make sure they will have a suitable cage and a good home. We find we just don't have the time to keep up with them like we used to and with school starting soon (and me working) we want them to get the attention they deserve.
