This is Cicero He recently lost his hen to a raccoon. He is very lonely and needs a companion. I have lots of chickens and none of them are silkies except this one. I would really like to find someone who would be willing to take him. As it is he's been living in an A frame chicken tractor with the hen he lost. I removed him from the tractor the morning I found his hen dead. He has been sleeping on my porch ever since. If anyone would be willing to take him in and love him I would very much appreciate it. I just want him to not be alone but also be able to have more room to move about than what I have available, because all my other chickens are way bigger than him and would hurt him I'm sure. He does have a slight crooked beak but not enough to prevent him from being able to eat on his own and he eats just regular flock raiser.  I don't have to do anything special except trim the top part with clippers occasionally. I believe he's about a year old maybe a little less.  * I am in Thomasville North Carolina and would be willing to bring him to you if within 30 miles.
