The Big Picture: Structuring the Long Prose Narrative is a three hour summer Saturday Workshop with Meredith Sue Willis for writers of novels, long stories, novellas, memoir and more. The $100.00 fee includes a critique by MSW of up to 1,000 words from your project. This takes place Saturday, August 13, 2022, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. EDT by Zoom. Consider joining a small group of writers for a 3 hour workshop on the big picture of what you are writing. We'll talk about shape and shaping; plot versus story; outline versus scenic structure (and when to do one or the other). We'll discuss ways to find an ending and how to sustain momentum through the middle--and a lot more. There will be a couple of brief mini-lectures, some in-class writing, a lot of discussion, and you get the teacher's critique of a passage of up to 1,000 words from your project.
