Whether this is your first time or you have surfed a couple times, this is a perfect opportunity for you to learn or improve the fundamentals of a pop-up, surf-etiquette, paddling and board management in a fun and friendly environment. What to bring? Surfboard and wetsuit: BYO or Rent in advance at Blackpoint Surfshop, Liquid Dreams Surf Shop or your shop of preference. (We are still in the process of getting our own gear)Bring bathing suit on, a towel and dry clothes.Where to rent a board? Black Point Surfshop is the only shop doing rentals around the Portland area. Liquid Dreams Surf Shop in York seems to be doing surf rentals as well! If you need help driving your board to the beach due to lack of racks or space in your car, connect with us and we can help you. LOCATION: The location of our lesson for this southern Maine session is at Long Sands Beach in York, Maine. We will be sending an email closer to the lesson on where exactly to meet us and further directions DURATION: 90 minutes
