Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic is holding its annual BRAs of the Bay event to raise awareness about breast reconstruction rights for breast cancer patients. Federal law mandates coverage of breast reconstruction surgery for most breast cancer patients, even if the reconstruction is delayed until after cancer treatment is completed. The event this year will be held in a new location! Tickets are required to attend this event. We will recognize breast cancer survivors and reveal the winners of our bra decorating contest. This social evening will include a panel discussion, hors d’oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction. One hundred percent of the proceeds from BRAs of the Bay benefit the Ribbon of Hope Foundation and the National Breast Reconstruction Awareness Day initiative with support from the BayCare Clinic Foundation and Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic.
