Looking for a writer

I have always love to novel and movie "The Martian" I been listening to the audio book again and again. I even have an idea of turning it into one of these "reimagined" limited series for streaming, but the thing is that even though I have a rough idea of how that would go and different character developments and so on, I don't even possess ANY of the writing skills to do this. I know it's someone else's work and a treatise paper would have to be sent to the author to get permission and so on, but that kind of thing has been done before and I really do think that once my idea's are heard that someone with skill can accomplish this. Maybe someone in film school, learning to write screenplays would be interested in picking this idea up with, or even with out my full involvement. Might just be useful for practice or something. I even have, in my head, the rough idea of how the first episode would be. I realize that this will not add up to much, probably, but I feel a need to at least get this out into the ether and see what happens. Thank you
