Are You Passionate About Dayton? Are You A Dayton Advocate? Join us and other Dayton Advocates for our monthly Happy Hour at The Brightside Music and Event Venue on August 4th from 5:00-7:00 PM. About Dayton Homecoming Dayton Homecoming is a community-based initiative that aims to bring former Daytonians back to the area and inspire non-native Daytonians to call Dayton home through peer-to-peer conversations with Dayton Advocates. We aim to revitalize long-term economic and community development by infusing the region with returning and new residents who can contribute to the “renaissance in progress". Our goals are twofold: to attract and retain motivated talent and change perceptions about Dayton by authentically telling its new story. The outcome will result in Dayton becoming a destination people WANT to relocate to- not just because they are from here or have been recruited for a position here. People in Dayton are already doing this work - Dayton Homecoming hopes to gather these people and serve as a resource hub of inspiration, information, and connectivity for Dayton Advocates, those looking to relocate to the region, and regional stakeholders with a shared interest in community and economic development.
