Cleveland baseball and Cleveland beer. A historic pairing over a century in the making. Since the turn of the 20th century, Cleveland has been known for the high quality of both its pints and its players. From the World Series rings of 1920 and 1948, to the epic run in the mid-90's, a fresh brew has gone hand in hand with good times at the ballpark.
Explore the rich history of Clevelanders' two favorite pastimes at Hop College: Baseball and Beer with the Cleveland Guardians! Jeremy Feador, Team Historian for the Guardians, will dive deep into the eras of our beloved hometown franchise, and GLBC beer educator Michael Williams will pair a GLBC beer that reflects the spirit of each of these eras of Cleveland baseball. Plus, you just might get to see special items pulled from the Guardians' archives!
Those who enroll in Hop College: Baseball and Beer will receive a GLBC and Guardians co-branded pint glass - not available for sale anywhere else! Classic ballpark snacks crafted in conjunction with local partners will be served.
Join us at the corner of Market Avenue and W. 26th Street for Hop College: Baseball and Beer!
