Join us for a free yoga night at our clinic led by Katie, an Inside Health practitioner and certified yoga instructor for the past 13 years.
Katie will be taking the body through a full range of gentle movements to get the lymphatic system flowing in order to relieve rigidity and stagnation. Breathing practices to calm the mind and heart will be incorporated into the flow with mindfulness, along with basic poses that promote strength, stability and alignment. No experience will be required. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own yoga mat.
Yoga therapy includes yoga for the rehabilitation of body, mind and spirit. Yoga therapy is more than a physical practice, it also focuses on the psycho-emotional aspects of the body in motion, habits, lifestyle practices, internal dialogue, diet, and more.
The point of yoga is not to be able to touch your toes or turn yourself into a pretzel, it is a full range of movement to get your body's systems flowing and integrating. We hope you will walk away empowered to stand in your truth, recognize your strengths and realize your potential.
