In 1982, Celso moved to New York City and performed with numerous artists including singer Clarice Taylor, guitarist Toninho Horta and The New York Samba Band. In 1984, he embarked on a major international tour with world-renowned percussionist Airto Moreira and singer Flora Purim. In 1989, Celso toured with jazz flautist Herbie Mann and formed an original instrumental power trio called No Man’s Land. From 1990 to 2004, he toured and recorded with many established musicians, including world-renowned recording artist Steve Winwood, guitarists Craig Chaquico (Starship) and Joyce Cooling, singer John Lucien, bassist Michael Manring, keyboardists Kit Walker (Kitaro) and Frank Martin (Narada Michael Walden) and many others. Since 2006, Celso has toured Russia and the Ukraine with Russian keyboardist Andrei Kondakov and has also performed with guitarist Stef Burns (Alice Cooper, Huey Lewis and the News), legendary Brazilian singer Emilio Santiago, guitarist Chico Pinheiro, singer/multi-instrumentalist Claudia Villela, singer/songwriter Tim Hockenberry, bassoonist Paul Hanson, saxophonist George Brooks, bassist Kai Eckhardt and numerous others. Pianist and producer Frank Martin has performed and recorded with numerous artists, including Stevie Wonder, Sting, Randy Brecker, Angela Bofill, Whitney Houston, Al Jarreau, Richard Bona, Shankar Mahadevan, Alex Acuna, Dori Caymmi, Larry Coryell, Flora Purim & Airto Moriera, Narada Michael Walden, Herbie Hancock, Pandit Ronu Majumdar, Tuck & Patti, Patrice Rushen, Wah Wah Watson, Robben Ford, Joey DeFrancesco, Lisa Fischer, Nguyen Le, Trilok Gurtu, John McLaughlin, Joe Farrell, Nishat Khan, Patti Austin, Steve Winwood, Santana, Abraham Laboriel, Chris Isaak, Anandan Sivamani, B.B. King, Larry Carlton, John Handy, Bruce Springsteen, Chris Botti, Jose Neto & the Netoband, Paul Simon, Patti Labelle, L. Subramaniam, Ramsey Lewis, Stanley Turrentine, Dennis Chambers, Alex Acuna, Kala Ramnath, Steve Kindler, Turtle Island String Quartet, Zakir Hussain, Wayne Shorter. For the past 25 years he has been a member of Sting’s “Rainforest Band” performing annually at Carnegie Hall along with James Taylor, Elton John, Billy Joel and many others. Saxophonist, composer, pianist and woodwinds player Gary Meek has appeared on over 200 albums. In the mid-’80s he toured with Dionne Warwick, playing keyboards. And In 1987, Meek began a two-decade association with Brazilian jazz artists Airto Moreira and Flora Purim. In 1990, Meek formed Fourth World, along with Jose Neto. This band toured the U.S., Europe, Asia, South Africa and Eastern Europe for five years. Three years later, Meek joined Herb Alpert’s world tour in support of Alpert’s “Second Wind” album. The following year, Meek toured the U.S. and Europe playing saxes, flute and keyboards for Al Jarreau. Meek’s 1991 album, “Gary Meek,” comprises 11 songs all written or cowritten by Meek. He has released four other solo projects to date, including “Time One,” “Live at Ronnie Scott’s,” “Good Friends” and “Step 7. He appeared in "Downright Upright,” nominated for the “Best Contemporary Jazz Album” Grammy in 2007. In 2000, Meek played saxophone for “Warning,” by Green Day. “Warning” reached No. 4 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and was certified gold by the RIAA. And In 2003, Meek played woodwinds for the album “Playful Heart” by guitarist and bossa nova pioneer Oscar Castro-Neves, named one of that year’s best albums by Downbeat. Bass guitarist and vocalist Myron Dove performed with Santana from 1992 to 1996, and 2003 to 2005. He's played with Stevie Wonder, Robben Ford, Dennis Chambers, Steve Winwood, Issac Hayes, Dave Meniketti, Buddy Guy, Gatemouth Brown, John Lee Hooker, Montrose, and Tony Furtado, to name a few. Join us for an evening of highly original and exciting jazz music beside the vines!   We'll pour tastes of our wines, and we invite you to bring a picnic. Wine will also be available for purchase by the bottle. The concert begins at 6pm. We’re open from 5:00 to 8:00. Picnic tables are not available; feel free to bring a blanket to spread on the ground, or beach chairs. Please consider carpooling or bicycling, as parking is very limited.
