We are a trucking firm looking for professional drivers who value working in a team environment. We specialize in hauling various types of palletized goods. We are located in San Leandro and are looking for a professional and experienced Class C drivers for two shifts. Shifts Available: - Tuesday-Saturday starting between 0600-0700 A.M. - Monday-Friday starting between 16:00-15:00 P.M. Benefits: · $250 sign-on bonus (payable after 3 months) · OT after 8 hours. · Medical/Dental/ benefit packages. · Vacation packages · Accrued sick leave. · Steel-toe shoe reimbursement program · Mobile phone reimbursement program Requirements: • Must have a minimum of 2yrs of verifiable commercial driving experience. • Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug test. • Must be able to pass a skills test (driving, map reading, lifting). • Must be able to safely operate equipment in all types of weather. • Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and written. • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. periodically throughout the day. • Must be able to move heavy pallets with a pallet jack repeatedly during her/his work shift. • Should have a working knowledge of the bay area and airport. Responsibilities: • Be on time. • Pre-/post-trip vehicle inspections. • Load truck efficiently and safely • DOT paperwork completed. • Operate company phone/tablet to enter POPs/ PODs within 30 minutes or less. • Clear communication with dispatch and customers. • Complete company paperwork and daily manifests. • Proper time management. • Safe driving practices. • Ability to use a hand truck, pallet jack, and straps to complete a pickup/delivery. • Keep inventory of company equipment • Take pictures • Follow TSA’s security and sensitive information protocol If this sounds like a good fit, please reply with your resume and what shift you prefer.
