Hello, we are a female vocalist/rhythm guitar player, a male drummer, & a male lead guitar player seeking a skilled bass player (& hopefully back up singer) for our Blues, Rock, Americana, & Motown cover band, based in the Santa Cruz/Aptos area. Huge plus if you're female or non-binary, a person of color, &/or younger than 60 so we can get some more diversity in this band! I've got a versatile, confident, & powerful voice. I can belt like Janis or Susan Tedeschi but can also be a sweet soprano like Joni. I have sang & performed for much of my life, & love positive music. We are looking to start a kick-ass, responsible, & fun cover band to play mellow South Bay Area & Santa Cruz venues. Blues & Rock are my favorite genres to sing, & we'll be doing covers by artists like Janis, Susan T, Otis Redding, Koko Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, John Mayall, Jackie Greene, Larkin Poe, Grace Potter, Tom Petty, Allman Bros, the Dead, Van Morrison... I'm 43 & live in Capitola. We rehearse at the drummer's house in the Las Lomas/Prunedale area. Reach out if you're an accomplished, interested bass player!
