DMV has them avail on website for $5 bucks. compensation: $17-20 (depending on experience) ** employment type: full-time and OT and some weekends and early mornings, and late nights, MUST have open schedule – This is the film industry so hours are FT plus some and must be avail on call when needed employment type: full-time Warehouse Staff/Driver – Film leader and production supplies company - (Burbank) North Hollywood, CA Job Summary: The Auto maintenance tech/Warehouse Staff/Driver is responsible for providing outstanding front line service to all clients. The Warehouse Staff/Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, delivering and picking up equipment to and from our facility. They are also tasked with cleaning, testing and maintaining. The Auto Maintenance is maintaining supplies on the rigs and doing small mechanical things, filling up fluids, cleaning and making sure they are ready for client use. Mechanical skills would be great! - Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including but not limited to: vehicle inspections, oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, brakes, battery installation, and headlight/taillight bulb replacements ** Warehouse Staff duties include, but are not limited to, the following : Accurately and efficiently pull and stage equipment for orders from the pull list paperwork in an organized manner. Determine if anything is short to generate a “short list” Check and test all equipment to ensure proper functioning when it comes back from a client Test all mechanical and electrical equipment before it goes on rent Work with clients on the check-out and check-in process of equipment at Apache Rental Group. Please always get signatures for all in and out contracts Help management with stock checks and short lists to maintain accurate inventory counts on a day in and day out basis so all orders are filled appropriately Communicate customer requests, order changes and/or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team. Always take notes of physical changes made when rental software is not available (on location, etc) Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment to load, unload or restock equipment Load and unload trucks following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques Properly assess and complete minor repairs to equipment when able Maintain a clean work area at all times Complete all tasks in a safe and timely manner All other duties as assigned by management and executive teamDriver duties include, but are not limited to, the following : Delivery and pick-up of; expendables, production supplies, sub-rentals, purchases and repairs to and from client locations Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment to load, unload or restock equipment Load and unload trucks and safely strap-off cargo following all proper lifting, pushing and pulling techniques Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork Read and follow road maps easily so as not to get lost in transit Follow delivery route instructions to ensure on-time delivery off equipment to the client location Immediately report any issues/problems with vehicles to a member of the management team Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles Operate all company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times. Aggressive or irresponsible driving are terminable offenses. All other duties as assigned by management and executive team Working Conditions : Work activities will regularly include working outside, in inclement weather, with exposure to extreme temperatures, areas of poor visibility, wet and/or humid conditions.. Noise level in work environment can be loud and cause sound vibrations. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, hazardous chemicals and operating vehicles will also be present in work environment.
