On September 25, join us in helping benefit two major organizations, the new HOME (Homeless Outreach Medicine & Education) Street Medicine program at the FSU College of Medicine, as well as the non-profit, I Support The Girls project. The HOME project will provide direct, continuous healthcare to the unsheltered homeless population in Leon County. This care will improve patient outcomes by focusing on primary care, health education, and prevention, and reduce unnecessary emergency room utilization. I Support the Girls collects and distributes essential items, including bras, underwear, and menstrual hygiene products, allowing women experiencing homelessness, impoverishment, or distress to stand tall with dignity. They believe a woman shouldn’t have to choose between feeding herself and her personal health.
